Amanda Holsten served as security chief on the Astro Omega ship. She is half Ethros (a demon race) and half Allurian. Ethros is the name of both the race and the homeplanet. While most Allurians excrete pheromones that attract most races to them, because she is only half, is only able to attract the same gender, which is a complication as she is heterosexual. While only half Ethros, she is described as “three times as strong as any human”, having something to due with bone density. She was raised on Ethros and has very little contact with Allurians. She resigned from her post to accept a sentry position with SPD.
